I just finished putting a new lining in an expensive purse. It's nice to be able to do RECONSTRUCTIVE surgery on Kristins' purse. It is an adorable purse. Surgery went well! And just to think I didn't have to go to medical school. LOL It's been a long day. I didn't have time to play with my recreating but I hope to have time tomorrow.

Don't you love to think outside the box? I was asked to make seat cushions for the folding chairs at church for folks you have a hard time sitting in those hard metal folding chairs. I put two seat cushions together, the seat part I put the no-skid material on the bottom and I put a sleeve on the back cushion so it slides over the chair. I spent most of today making 14 of them. Wow, was Freshman Orientation fun! It brings back so many memories. I would love to go back to high school with some of the knowledge I have now. A friend mentioned that they would because they might not be where they are now. That is such a great and valid point. But still I would like a little more knowledge. Hopefully I shared enough with my oldest so he can make the most of these wonderful high school years that go so, so FAST!!! I guess that would be my BIG advice--Make the most of your high school years! Once they are gone you can't go back and relive or change them. I wonder if teenagers can understand my advice or do they have a mind set like, "I can't wait to get out of school!" What do you think?
