Another one for the Crock-Pot

Broccoli and Beef Pasta 10 oz frozen broccoli 1 onion, thinly sliced 1/2 tsp dried basil 1/2 tsp dried oregano 1/2 tsp dried thyme 1 Can (14 oz) Italian-style tomates, drained - I actually used 1 Can of Rotel 3/4 C beef broth 1 pd lean ground beef 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 Cups cooked rotini pasta 3/4 Cups (3 oz) shredded Cheddar cheese or grated Parmesan cheese 2 tablespoons tomato paste Layer broccoli, onion, basil, oregano, thyme, tomatoes with juice and broth in Crock-pot, cover, cook on low 2 1/2 hours. I actually browned the ground beef with garlic the night before so it was ready in the morning. The reciped says to put ground beef in 2 hours before you're ready to eat but I put the beef in with the first step and let it simmer all day. I added the cook pasta about 30 minutes before we were ready to eat. I added the cheese on top when serving. Wow, it was yummy! I also put the mix in the bread maker timed everything to be ready at the same time. It was a great recipe. You sho...
