Before my re-purpose I was something else, something that had lost its usefulness. But then my designer came along and she thought otherwise and she transformed me and gave me this new lovely purpose. I hope to inspire you to do the same ~ Lorraine Giannetto-Glach

This is a pattern by Kathleen Brown. I made it out of a cotton print with fish and seashells--just right for a day at the lake. I really like this simple and easy yet so cute hat that protects! It doesn't take much time to make!
Thanks for all the good review comments! Anyone can make this great REVERSIBLE hat (you get two hats, while making one!!!) - oh-so-fun. To order your very own pattern, write to Kathleen at ofmyhands@hotmail.com, or check out one of her web sites: www.coroflot.com/ofmyhands.
This is a great way to make a pillow from an old sweatshirt. You cut the sweatshirt where the embroidered area making it as big as you can. Cut out a back side too. Sew around all four sides leaving an opening about 6 to 7 inches so you can stuff with stuffing. Once you stuff the pillow hand sew it close.
