Placemat to purse in minutes

Image
I love to take something and make it something else. I don't know if it's because I get attached to something and I don't want to get rid of it and this makes it new to me so I can enjoy it even longer. That I guess will be another story!! LOL

Ana's Tote Bag - Grids & Grommets

Image
I taught Ana how to make this cute Indygo Junction Grids & Grommets tote bag. Ana did the quilting around the humming birds like she was a pro I was very impressed. It turned out so cute. Her selection of fabrics was perfect for this pattern. Let me know what you think of it.

Black Floral Skirt to Purse

Image
This was a wrap around skirt that I made into a purse. Someone that liked the other black purse with pink flowers which sold asked if I had any fabric with green so when I saw this purse I thought it would be perfect. All of these are one-of-a-kind so you won't find someone else with the same purse. I will be able to make an apron out of what is left over. I had a temporary set back when we got water in our basement, my sewing room had to be moved to the game room on the other end of the basement so I haven't had much time to sew. We have to fix the window well so that doesn't happen again and then we can put my sewing room together. In the meantime I have a space to sew in but it's not what I was used to but at least I'm able to sew!!! WHOOHOO!!!

Heidi and Her Scrub Top

Skirt of Many Colors tell me what you want to be...

Image
Will you be a purse or a apron. It takes me a while to decide. I have to wait to see what the article of clothing says to me. Will I get put away for saying that clothes talk to me? LOL Well today I decided to have my facebook friends help me out and most all of the them said the skirt would make a perfect Apron. Fortunately I was able to make both a purse and apron. Let me know what you think!
